Verifying External Threads with GO/NO-GO Ring Gauges
External threads are production-critical - a bolt or stud that is slightly oversized, undersized or mis-pitched can cause assembly failures or safety issues. Thread ring gauges provide the definitive acceptance check: the GO ring threads fully onto a conforming part, and the NO-GO ring will not start. This verifies pitch diameter, pitch and thread profile in one quick operation.
Gauges are manufactured from hardened and ground tool steel with a knurled body for positive grip, calibrated to the specified standard and tolerance class.
