Indexable Carbide Inserts
Indexable carbide inserts are available in standard ISO designations for face milling and shoulder milling. APMT-style rhombic inserts are used in BAP 300R and 400R face mills for general purpose face milling. SOMT-style inserts are used in ASX400 shoulder mills for accurate 90 degree shoulder generation.
Grades are available with PVD and CVD coatings for steel, stainless steel, and cast iron applications, as well as uncoated and cermet grades for non-ferrous and finishing applications.
