When absolute mechanical locking is non-negotiable—like steering linkages or heavy lifting clevises—friction isn't enough. You need a physical barrier. You slide the DIN 94 cotter pin through a drilled hole and bend the legs back. It's a fail-safe. Even if the nut backs off entirely, the pin stops it from separating. We supply these in stainless steel because a rusted pin is impossible to remove during emergency maintenance.
